Mia Čubrilo from Serbia is a senior majoring in Art Business at the Baruch College in New York.  As her final undergraduate thesis she is organizing an exhibit showcasing contemporary art of 6 emerging artists from Serbia. Via her Kickstarter campaign, she raised funds to organize everything from transportation of art from Serbia to finding her exhibit space, and somewhere along the line she also found Artorien to help support her ambitious and commendable endeavor.

Exhibit’s goal is to help artists gain recognition outside of their local circles and introduce undiscovered art from Serbia to the New York public.  

The exhibition will be held on September 8 at the Serbian Consulate in New York.  Details are coming up.
